I am having a pottery party at my house on April 13th starting at 1:00. I am trying to space everyone out at least 15 mins apart. You can come earlier than your appt time to look thru her albums and decide what you would like. Trust me she has alot of cute stuff and it took me forever. The hand/footprints take just a min to do. So if you would like to come please email me at astell@proassurance.com and I will set you up. Please if you have friends/family that want to come, bring them with you. These make great gifts for grandparents and mothers day is coming up. The cookie jar and spoon laddle are just a few things that I have had made. The two little frogs at the bottom of the spoon laddle are mine and dougs thumb prints. I just thought it was a cute idea. The lady does anything you ask and does all of it free hand.

Happy Birthday Austin!!!!

Austin Douglas Stell was our first baby boy and would be 3 years old today. For those of you who do not know, I delivered Austin at 20 weeks because I have an incompetent cervix. He weighed right under a pound, he was as perfect as I knew he would be. He had my nose and his daddy's toes and I knew when I held that little boy that God had his hands full. We dont know the reason God chose to take him but we have to know that God's plan was far greater than we could imagine. Austin was God's baby before he was ours and it brings comfort to us knowing that God's is taking care of him now. We will always hold Austin in our hearts. I know that Austin watches over us everyday and he knows how much we love him.

Working in the yard

This past sunday was so nice, daddy tried to get our leaves under control. I was beginning to wonder if we had grass. OF COURSE, Nathan had to help...

Look what mommy got!!!!

Look what my wonderful husband bought me. It is a 2007 Dodge Charger. I was in desperate need of a new car. Although the 4runner was still running strong, she was getting alittle rough on the roads. I felt like I was riding in the woods in our jeep. I have been looking at the Chargers for awhile. They just look like a mean car but are very safe and get great gas mileage. I just love my new car.

Nathan is such a good helper. If he sees me with my gloves on he thinks he has to have some on. In these pictures, he saw daddy working on our stupid vaccum cleaner. So of course he had to do what daddy was doing.

He got his Daddy's toenails....

Bless his heart, I took these pictures to remember his little feet. But, after looking at them more closely, now I show everyone how messed up my child's toenails really are. I dont know what to do, they just grow all messed up.

Brushing our teeth

Well, brushing teeth has become a huge task at my house. Nathan would be perfectly okay if I let him sit there and play in the running water all night. It is when I have to take the toothbrush away and turn the water off that he has his breakdown.

This boy has an obsession with wearing our shoes or socks. He pitched a fit until I put my socks on him.

Eye doctor checkup

Since Nathan was a preemie and was in the NICU we have to go see the eye doctor every six months. Well yesterday was our 2nd checkup and he got a great report. Our last visit was not so promising b/c he was showing early signs of far sightedness and a lazy eye. The doctor wanted us to watch him very closely and make sure he was using both eyes. I was very worried about this. Dr Cogen said yesterday, that we was no longer showing these signs and was looking really great. He asked me how his hand/eye coordination was and I thought it was great. Which Dr Cogen agreed with me about his coordination. He wants to see him again in 9-12 months and if Nathan is still doing great we will not have to go back. I want to mention how great Dr Cogen at the Callahan Eye Foundation is with kids, plus he raved about how good of a patient Nathan was. Nathan just sat and let him check his eyes like a big boy. I was so proud of him.
