Happy Halloween

Here are our Halloween pictures we had made. He loves to have his costume on and I think he makes the cutest Dragon. Also, you can see his fall pictures made by Kim Sharit. I just loved them all. I hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween.

1 Year

It is hard to believe that today is one year since our house was broken into. For those of you that do not know. This day last year Doug and I came home to find our house completely destroyed from one end to the other. They used gas that we had in the garage and poured it throughout the house, on furniture, clothes, etc. and tried to set it on fire. The good lord was watching over us that day because they did not succeed in burning it down. They took everything that mattered to us, including any pictures I had taken of Nathan, his ultrasound video, his first day home video, alot of stuff I will never be able to replace. At that moment in time we had a 3 month old and did not know what we were going to do. Needless to say we moved out in one day and never went back. We moved into Dougs dad house and stayed there until we were able to cleanup and sale our house. It sold in two days of being on the market and then we bought our new house in January. I know now that God works in ways we will never understand and I feel this was his way of getting us out that house. In the 3 years that we have lived there we were broken into a total of 3 times. I know that I will never replace those things but we have each other and after all that doug and I have been through, we are grateful for every second of every day that we have with each other. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts to everyone that helped and prayed for us, we are truly grateful for everything.

Pumpkin Carving

We have made going to the pumpkin patch a stell family tradition and we have so much fun doing it. After everyone spends the day picking out their pumpkins, we all go to Pams and carve them. The girls love to carve their own and this year Dalton actually got to help, although I think he carved more of Tims hand than the pumpkin. Nathan was not quite sure about and did not want any part of the pumpkin guts, but of course he still had to be in the middle of it.

Hunter are you sure you got that pumpkin. He picked out the biggest one he could find I think and Uncle Doug carried it for him. We missed Eddie this year because he was at home recovering from Mono. He is getting better by the day though.

The top two pictures are of Nathan enjoying his cheeseburger and dancing to a good ole gospel band playing on stage. The bottom pictures are what we did after we were done eating WALKED. All he wanted to do was walk around and he did not want to hold our hands (this is where the independency comes in).

Happy Birthday MawMaw

Teresa, Sharon and I got all the grandbabies together and made MawMaw this special platter with their handprints on it. As you can see Nathan passed out before it was his turn and slept thru the whole painting. So needless to say he was pretty cooperative. I was hoping we would beat out Jeremy for the best gift. I think it was last Christmas, Jeremy bought some picture coasters and had all the boys baby pictures put in it and surprised her with it. Ever since then we have been trying to come up with something better.

I dont think the Stell Family can get any bigger. In this picture you see the trail. It goes Nathan, Daddy, Crystal, Jeremy, MawMaw Pam, PawPaw Steve, Tim, Dalton, Teresa. I think Sharon had already passed me, you know how she is about being in pictures. We catch her every now and then.

I think we have started a family tradition for my side of the family. We had so much fun with Nana, PawPaw and AuntA.

the petting zoo

Nana and PawPaw took Nathan over to pet the animals and we had to fight him just to keep him out of the pens. Also, why is it when your hair is messed up no one ever tells you until you see the picture. I am referring to the loop of hair above my sunglasses. Oh well.

Nathan was all pooped out until he saw that PawPaw had a fried apple pie with ice cream. He always wants food someone else has and of course PawPaw will share with him.

1 little monkey jumpin on the bed

I let Nathan play on my bed while I was trying to make it up. Big mistake on my part. I think it took me 45 mins just to do it but he was having so much fun that it really did not matter. I just love him so much.

McDonalds Trip

Tiffany and I took the boys to McDonalds after the festival. The boys were so funny, they kept eating each others food. Once we were done eating we took them out to play. Both Tiffany and I got ourselves into the gym and played chase with them. They had a ball and played so well together. They both loved the slide and kept trying to climb up it.

Gardendale Fall Festival

Our first fall festival. A friend of mine from work, her little boy Mason and Nana went down to the festival in Gardendale. There was not much Nathan and Mason could do but still had a good time. We got to see how Nathan would react to another baby in the picture. He acted just as we thought JEALOUS, as soon as my mom held Mason Nathan wanted over there. It was pretty funny.

Fun at the Park

We walked down to the church down the street from our house and played at their park. Thanks Enon Church. Nathan absolutely loves to play outside and loved the playhouse. He just kept going in out of it just so he could close the door. He is such a mess and really starting to be independent. We can say some words like puppy, thank you, no no, bye and of course mama and da di. The rest is just a lot of babbling. Every animal he sees is a puppy, I think it is cute. He also trys to whistle like daddy but all that he does is blow air.
