I want to be like Daddy!!

This boy has to do EVERYTHING like his daddy.

A couple of weekends ago I noticed Doug going into Nathan room with tools. I, of course, asked what he was doing. I walk in to see him turning my baby's bed into a toddler bed. I about started crying, because that means my little boy is growing up.

In the top pictures is Nathan testing it out by jumpin on it and making sure daddy has done is correctly. The bottom pictures are of his first night in the big boy bed and the results. We tried it two nights in a row and had the same results. So needless to say the rail went back on until we get him a small rail. I will say he loved being able to climb in and out of his bed.

Thank You Daddy for building us some shelves!!! We really needed something to get SOME stuff off the floor. At first I thought it was a good idea, now not so much. Everything STILL stays in the floor. OH WELL!!!! I TRIED!!!!

This was okay almost two years ago but maybe alittle too big for it now. I guess when pawpaw made this he did not think Nathan would still want to lay in it two years later. Good thing it is built very well.

Digging up Mawmaw flowers

Helping MawMaw make a bunny cake and dying easter eggs. WHAT A MESS that was. Oh well, they had fun doing it.

These were a couple of my favorite pictures that we took at botanical.

After the visiting the Easter Bunny, Tiffany and I decided to take the boys up to botanical. We got some good pictures and the boys were wore out.

He liked the Easter Bunny only from a distance. Believe it or not though we did get a good picture. I dont blame him though for crying, a giant bunny is kind of creepy.

I can't express in words how much I love this little boy. I thank God everyday for him.

I know it would be hard for people to believe that Doug being 6'5 fit in Nathan tent. So I took pictures. Of course with both of them in there it had to be a little cramped. Nathan thought it was hilarious and wanted daddy to stay in there all night and of course daddy did.

THE JEEP

So we bought him the swing set but we would rather play in the jeep. Go figure!!! It is in his blood. As soon as we pull in the garage in the afternoons, that is all he says "Jeep, Jeep". I know my time is coming where I will booted out and it will be just the boys going riding in the woods.

Nathan new playground

I am playing catch up so bare with me. We bought Nathan this swing set at the beginning of March. He absolutly loves to be outside so we needed something for him to play on.
