This past friday night, doug and I had a chance to go out. It has been along time since we have been able to do that. Our very best friend Angela joined us. Actually me and angela were originally going out and doug joined us. Anyway, we ended up at this bar called "Redline Bar and Grill" to watch this band play called "Letting Go Live". They were so good and we had so much fun, but by the end of the night I was the sober one and the designated driver.

Last saturday we went to the zoo with Angela, Kason, Leslie and Madison. While we were there my camera died. So I had to rely on Anglea to take pics of us. We had such a good time and saved the shooting water for last. Nathan was not sure of it at first buy by the end, he was running thru it and letting it hit him in the face.

This is why I am so behind on blogging. I said when Nathan was born I would keep a scrapbook for him. Well now I have two years of catching up to do. My friend Janet has lent me all of her neat scrapbooking tools and that has really helped me get started. I do not have a creative bone in my body so I have a little trouble getting started. I know it looks like a big mess and it is but it cleans up really fast.

I want to be like Daddy!!

This boy has to do EVERYTHING like his daddy.

A couple of weekends ago I noticed Doug going into Nathan room with tools. I, of course, asked what he was doing. I walk in to see him turning my baby's bed into a toddler bed. I about started crying, because that means my little boy is growing up.

In the top pictures is Nathan testing it out by jumpin on it and making sure daddy has done is correctly. The bottom pictures are of his first night in the big boy bed and the results. We tried it two nights in a row and had the same results. So needless to say the rail went back on until we get him a small rail. I will say he loved being able to climb in and out of his bed.

Thank You Daddy for building us some shelves!!! We really needed something to get SOME stuff off the floor. At first I thought it was a good idea, now not so much. Everything STILL stays in the floor. OH WELL!!!! I TRIED!!!!

This was okay almost two years ago but maybe alittle too big for it now. I guess when pawpaw made this he did not think Nathan would still want to lay in it two years later. Good thing it is built very well.
