Twizzlers

All in the same night of eating a candy cane for the 1st time we also ate a twizzler for the 1st time. I think Twizzlers are nasty, but that is just my opinion. Doug will eat them all the time, he buys them by the bucket. Nathan I guessed like it or he may of just been playing with it b/c he never truely ate it.

Our 1st Candy Cane

He broke the candy cane and it opened so I went ahead and let him eat it. I did not think he would like it b/c to me candy canes are too strong. He loved it as you can see.

Daycare

I took a picture of Nathan with his teachers at daycare. Mrs Kathy is holding him which has him in the mornings. The lady on the right is Mrs Betty which had Nathan when he started Gardendale 1st Baptist, he was 5 months old and I loved Mrs Betty. The bottom picture is from right to left Carley, Nathan, Allen and Carley is Nathan girlfriend. She calls him NaNa. They sit beside each other in the morning to eat breakfast as you see.

Breakfast with Santa// Dec 15th

Well we finally went to see santa last saturday and it went just as I thought it would. As soon as I sat him in Santa lap, he looked at him and then went to whinning. We got one good picture. After pictures we went and made christmas ornaments. Actually, he helped on the first one and I made the rest of the ornaments and he watched and whinned.

Our bath dilemma

Okay, I will begin by saying how much Nathan has always loved bath time. He would stay in there until he was wrinkled and even after I drained the water would not want to get out. Last Sunday I went to walmart and bought him a elmo bath matt and some new bath toys. That night when it was time to take a bath I got all the new toys and ran the water. When I put him in the water, he just stood there and cried. I tried to make him sit down and he would do the hard cry where he does not breathe. I could not figure out what was wrong, so I just bathed him and got it over with. So I waited and gave him a bath Tuesday night and he did the same thing. I thought it was the bath matt he was scared of, so I took it out. He still cried at the next bath. So, to make a long story short, I bought some bubbles yesterday and we tried them out last night. He thought they were hilarious but still would not sit down. It took both me and doug to make the child sit in the water. Once he sat down he was fine and played until there were no bubbles left. We have come to the conclusion that he was not scared of anything just stubborn and hard headed. Which is not surprising to us, after all he did come from me and doug. He does not stand a chance.

Botanical Gardens

Tiffany and I decided to take the boys up to the gardens last saturday and take a few pictures of our own. The boys had alot of fun running free and they play so well together. Nathan and Mason are only two weeks apart. I think we did a good job, here are a few of my favorites.

Christmas Pictures 2007

We got our Christmas pictures and I love all of them, of course. Kim Sharit once again did a wonderful job. This time was very hard because Nathan did not want to sit still. The older he gets the harder he is to photograph. Kim had a few secrets up her sleeve to get some good shots. Thank You Kim.

I am the luckiest girl alive to have these two boys in my life.

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!

We are finally getting more teeth. But check out that gap between out front ones. WOW!!! What are the chances of them coming together after they come in.

Who would have thought that being under the christmas tree would be so much fun. He was chasing the cat. The last picture is him giving the cat LOVE. Sadie loves him back. Where ever Nathan goes Sadie goes, it is really sweet. When he goes to sleep, she will sleep in his rocker for a little while.

I finally received part of my order from the ABC catalog. Nathan of course loved the peanuts and of course I had to take pictures.

Gringerbread houses

While at Mawmaw's celebrating Jeremy's birthday, we made gingerbread houses. They are fun and messy all at the same time. The last picture is mine. Dont laugh, surprisingly they are very hard to decorate. Bottom is Peyton eating her chimney.

Guess what.....

Jeremy finally proposed to Krystle this weekend. She has been apart of the family for awhile now but now she will be legally a STELL. I am so excited.

Happy Birthday Uncle J

Jeremy celebrated his 26th birthday this past Saturday. Jeremy is dramatic when he blows his candles out, but surprisingly this is a tradition for him to make that face as he is blowing them out. His present was an Ipod.

Helping Daddy

Now a days this little boy wants to do everything daddy is doing. This is him helping Daddy dispose of the pumpkins. We finally are taking the scarecrow and bails of hay out of the front yard.
